Review of timshel Mumford & Sons

Cold is the water
It freezes your already cold mind
Already cold, cold mind
And death is at your doorstep
And it will steal your innocence
But it will not steal your substance

Life as it is, not very pleasant to all or some. Stating the obvious but sometimes what seems obvious are almost always being overlooked at. What do you get from a fixed mindset or belief as life nourishes, nurtures, destroys and ultimately kills.
And this lead to your insecurities where without fail it would creeps up to you unannounced. But would these episodes scarred you? Well, you toughened up for sure but your soul, yeah it would be intact. A suggestion of dual properties? Your inner self is not your soul?

But you are not alone in this
And you are not alone in this
As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand
Hold your hand

We are unique, we are on our own, yet we are one and we are the same therefore we are never alone. Free yourself from the generalization of gender and you would find that everyone is equal to one another and would be there for one another.

And you are the mother
The mother of your baby child
The one to whom you gave life
And you have your choices
And these are what make man great
His ladder to the stars

Everyone is a creator, nurturer and bringer of something or another where our creation be it in our heart, desire or physical are well kept alive by our attention, belief and determination. And this is by design our choice to make and by having this freedom of choosing without the supposed or made up coercion, allusion or false subjugation we are indeed our own captain of our ship. And this made us far apart from other beings of this universe for we are above and beyond from what we would imagined ourselves to be.

But you are not alone in this
And you are not alone in this
As brothers we will stand and we'll hold your hand
Hold your hand

And I will tell the night
Whisper, "Lose your sight"
But I can't move the mountains for you

The things unknown to us are not to be feared for we can band together and strive and order our destiny to our choice yet the choice falls upon our individual self and not from others.
